RDS WM Fellowship Event, Friday 20 November 2015
This very well received event was held on Friday 20 November at the University of Birmingham and provided an overview of the current NIHR Fellowship schemes together with insights into the requirements of the interview panel.  Delegates commented that:

This was a really helpful session for finding out more about the process.

Excellent workshops- focused and informative, well organised and well presented.

Excellent meeting – really useful introduction to work of RDS and PPI.

The main theme of the event was to give delegates an overview of incorporating Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) in research design.  NIHR are committed to embedding PPI into everyday practice within health and social care organisations.  Applications that contain evidence of well conducted PPI are more likely to be successful.
