The Lead of the Keele Hub of the RDS WM is Prof Julius Sim, the Deputy is Dr Ivonne Solis-Trapala, and the Hub Administrator is Deborah Thomas
Julius Sim joined Keele in 1997, having been Principal Lecturer in Social and Health Research at Coventry University. Following an undergraduate degree in English (University of Durham), his postgraduate education was in Sociology (South Bank Polytechnic), Philosophy (Keele University) and Statistics (Sheffield Hallam University). He is a Chartered Statistician and Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society.
His research interests are in methodology, especially as related to mixed-methods research and clinical trials, and research ethics, and he is involved in a number of projects within the Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Centre and the Clinical Trials Unit within the Research Institute for Primary Care and Health Sciences at Keele.
